Pamela J. Wilcox was diagnosed at the age of 49 with Stage III-C Ovarian Cancer. Pam’s courage and strength allowed her to survive during her 2-½ year battle with Ovarian Cancer. Following her hysterectomy and debulking surgery in July of 2003, Pam underwent many chemotherapy treatments, including Gemzar, Carbo, Taxateer, TLK-286, Topotecan, and Doxil. Through all treatments she stayed positive and continued to smile. Pam’s strong will and fortitude to live made her the inspiration that she was to all of us today.

Pamela J. Wilcox was surrounded by love from her husband, Randy of 30 years and her two children Dawn and Mike. As a family, they engaged in many special moments together including many cross-country skiing trips in Michigan. Pam spent her last few years traveling to great places such as New York, Vermont, West Virginia, Minnesota, and visiting her daughter in Pennsylvania. During Pam’s chemotherapy she still enjoyed life by participating in hiking and even white-water rafting! Pam loved to just sit by a Bonfire with the one’s she loved, including her sisters, brothers, and close friends. Her two most fulfilling moments in life were watching her two children graduate from college. Pam’s smile and laugh were infectious to everyone around her. Pam always put others needs first.

Pam was an artist that shared her artwork with hundreds of people. She was a creative, dedicated floral designer working with her husband, Randy in their business ownership of Pam & Lee’s Pleasantries for over 25 years.

Pam will always be remembered for her strength, courage, positive attitude, and most of all her radiant smile!
